Holt is a GLP-1 tracker app. The guides on this site exist to help people on GLP-1 medications understand their treatment week and decide how to track it. This page explains how they're made.
Who writes the guides
Guides are written and maintained by the Holt Editorial Team at Ace Studio Teknoloji Limited Şirketi. Bylines show who wrote each piece. When a guide has been reviewed by a clinician, the reviewer's name and credentials appear in the byline and in the page's structured data; pages without a named reviewer have not had a clinical review yet.
How we source health information
Every medical statement should trace to a source listed at the bottom of the page, in this order of preference:
- Prescribing information and patient instructions from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (accessdata.fda.gov and DailyMed), or the European Medicines Agency.
- Peer-reviewed clinical trials and reviews in journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet and JAMA.
- Guidance from professional societies — for example the 2025 joint advisory on nutrition during GLP-1 therapy from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, the American Society for Nutrition, the Obesity Medicine Association and The Obesity Society.
- News reporting only for dates such as regulatory approvals.
Numbers — doses, schedules, trial results, side-effect rates — come from these sources and are presented as the source presents them. When something isn't known or isn't in the label, we say so instead of filling the gap.
What we never do
- We never tell you to start, stop, skip, switch or change a dose. That is a decision for you and your prescriber.
- We don't publish weight-loss promises, before-and-after claims or invented statistics.
- We don't present investigational medicines as available treatments.
Comparisons with other apps
Pages that compare Holt with other apps are written by the Holt team, and each one says so. We describe Holt's features from the app itself, and other apps' features, platforms and prices only as listed on their own App Store pages or websites on the date shown on the page. "Not listed" means we couldn't find a feature on the listing, not that the app lacks it. We don't use ratings or rankings we can't verify.
How content is produced
We use writing and translation tools — including AI-assisted tools — to research, draft and translate. Every guide is checked against its listed sources before publishing. Translated versions are prepared from the English originals, which remain the reference version.
Updates and corrections
Guides show when they were published and last updated. Labels change; when a prescribing document is revised, we update the affected pages. If you spot an error, email support@acestudio.app — we review every report and correct mistakes promptly.
